An autumn Saturday afternoon spent in the city...

         It was just another ordinary sunny Saturday afternoon...The sun was out..., it was a bit chilly with the cool autumn winds blowing through the cloudy sky (It was all still good nonetheless...)..., the changing colors of the season...as well as the locals with their very own special Saturday planned activities...A perfect time for a walk around the city...!! (^___^)...The sights and sounds were just amazing too...!! It was an experience unlike..., anything i could find back home...-nods...-

The NTU Malaysian society...

           When you are a foreigner in a brand new country..., there are many things in which you would tend to try out..., in regards for the experience as well as the 'fun' (At times..., it happens...) of it in filling that small little gap called university life...To me..., joining societies was a part of it...-nods...- When i think about it..., back during my college years..., (both KBU and Taylor's...) I never had any time for these sort of things..., my life back then revolves around a few things..., assignments..., classes..., tutorials..., friends...and special events...(If I am ever free...) (In that specific order...)...But i have never ever join a society before in my life...-nods...- Nonetheless..., i decided to try something different during my period here with two different societies..., one being the NTU Malaysian society and the other..., NTU anime society...(^____^)...

             So yea...the NTU Malaysian society..., open to everyone regardless of being a Malaysian or non-Malaysian studying over at NTU and keen in learning more about our countries' culture and not mention festivals...This was during the society's first official meeting..., where it was held in a japanese restaurant...(Of all places...) with a so called 'buffet...' (Which was not according to its name...) style Malaysian lunch...(^____^'''')...(Hahahah...-nervous laugh...-) Nonetheless..., it was great...!! I met a bunch of fellow Malaysians from a mixed of different backgrounds (some migrated to UK...) as well as states...and befriended quite a number of them...-nods...- Definitely a 1Malaysia spirit we are having here in Nottingham..., UK...Woohoo...!! (^____^)...

Fact: Believe it or not..., the last society president of 2011 was not a Malaysian but a citizen from Hong Kong who migrated to UK...!! Interesting don't you think...?? Hahahah...
